# Cancel Interview

A recruiter can cancel the interview for one candidate at a time. If the current status is 'Technical test scheduled,' 'Round-1 Scheduled,' 'Round-2 Scheduled,' or 'Round-3 Scheduled,' the 'Cancel interview' option is enabled.

When the recruiter performs the ‘**Cancel Interview’** action, a pop up should appear.

When click on yes, the status change to **‘Technical test cancelled/Round-1 Cancelled/Round-2 Cancelled/Round-3 cancelled’** in the tracker, and a activity is added as a '**Technical test cancelled; Round-1/2/3 interview cancelled**'. The system sends email notifications to the candidate and the interviewer and an action-performed email is sent to the recruiter.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.quickappflow.com/product-guides/recruitment-and-ats/job-tracker/recruiter-can-perform-different-action/cancel-interview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
