Asset Search

Go to asset search, In asset search quickly find assets using various filters in asset search.

Click on Details, In detailed information about each asset.

Search/Filters:

Select the desired filter(s) from the dropdown menus on the left side.

Click on the "Apply Filter" button to filter the assets.

Click "Clear Filter" to reset the filters.

The Asset Search feature allows you to find specific assets based on different criteria. You can filter assets by:

Type: The type of the asset (e.g., Servers, Consumables, IT).

Click on type filter, select type and click on apply filter.

Category: The category under which the asset falls (e.g., Windows Server License, Linux Servers, Routers).

Click on category filter, select category and click on apply filter.

Status: The current status of the asset (e.g., In Store, In Repair, Allocated).

Click on status filter, select status and click on apply filter.

Location: The physical or organizational location of the asset.

Click on location filter, select location and click on apply filter.

Department: The department that uses or manages the asset.

Click on department filter, select department and click on apply filter.

Asset Manager: Select name of the asset manager whom responsible for the asset and click on apply filter.

Currently Assigned: Check this box to show assets that are currently assigned to someone.

Click on the pencil icon to edit the asset information. make necessary change which you want to change and save it.

Performing Actions on Assets:

You can perform several actions on each asset directly from its card:

Assign

Assign the asset to a specific user.

Click on assign.

In the allocate form, Add the necessary details such as the User to whom the asset is being allocated, select from and to date. Click Save.

After allocated the asset, asset status change assign to deallocate.

Deallocate Asset

To deallocate an asset, Select Deallocate.

Add deallocation date and reason, click on save.

After deallocated asset, this will change the asset's status to In Store.

The asset will now be available for reallocation or other actions.

All

View all related assets in the same category.

Click on All.

Details

View more detailed information about the asset.

Click on details link.

Summary: Navigate to the ‘Summary’ section to view asset summary.

Editing Asset Details: Click on the pencil icon to edit the asset information. make necessary change which you want to change and save it.

Asset Allocation: Refer to the 'Asset Allocation' section to see the allocation history of the asset.

Other Detail:

User can see the additional details about the selected asset like:

Model name, Company name, Number of ports.

History:

Users can see the history of a particular asset, such as when the asset was allocated to a user and when it was deallocated and other statuses.

Back To Search: Navigate back to the search screen.
